This page explains what personal information PlantMe collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

What we collect

Your details when you order or create an account: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and a map location if you choose to add one.
The payment receipt you upload at checkout. Payment is by bank transfer, so we never see or store card details.
Messages you send through our contact form, and the email address you give us if you ask to be told when a product is back in stock.
How popular each product is: we count how often products are viewed, added to carts and bought. These are totals per product and are not linked to you.

To process, verify and deliver your orders, and to email you about them.
To run your account, reply to your messages, and send the back-in-stock alerts you asked for.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

The delivery company that brings your order receives your name, phone number and address.
We use trusted service providers to host this website, store its files and send its emails. They process data only on our behalf.
We may also share information where the law requires it.

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects our forms from misuse, and one that remembers your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Fonts, icons and the map on this site are loaded from third-party services, which receive your device's IP address, as with any website.

We keep your account details while you have an account with us, and order records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes.

You can view and update your details at any time in My Account. To ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or deleted, contact us and we will respond as the law requires.

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, passwords are stored in a form that cannot be read back, and we limit who can see order and payment information to the PlantMe team.
